Georgia – A Georgia teenager who was abducted in a home invasion robbery has been found alive. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Ayvani Hope Perez, 14, was found alive on Wednesday following a massive search. Two suspects are reportedly now in custody.

According to authorities, the family did not know the suspects and had moved into their Ellenwood area home about a month prior. The home invasion occurred around 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday with the two men entering through a back door they pried open, and demanded items while armed with handguns.

Clayton County Police Chief Gregory Porter said Ayvani, who was abducted on Tuesday, has been reunited with her family. Porter is quoted by the AP as stating, “She’s in good health, she’s being evaluated as we speak.”
