The Silk® Companies Welcomes Les R. Kramsky, Esq. as EVP and General Counsel

The Silk® Companies, a family of companies providing insurance, settlement and real estate services to both the residential and commercial markets, is delighted to announce the appointment of Les R. Kramsky, Esq. as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

The Silk® Companies, consist of:

• Silk® Abstract Company – A provider of title insurance, escrow, search and settlement services to the national residential and commercial real estate markets;

• Silk® Insurance Services – A provider of commercial and personal insurance products for home, vehicles, business, life and health; and

• Silk® Realty – A real estate brokerage firm.

As a key member of The Silk® Companies team, Mr. Kramsky will be responsible for the legal operation, as well as being an integral part of the management and development team for the company. He will be responsible for reviewing and clearing titles, resolving claims, developing and managing the legal department. He will assist other attorneys in general real estate matters, and provide counsel to clients. In addition, Mr. Kramsky will leverage his existing industry connections and establish relationships with prospective clients as part of Silk® Abstract Company’s efforts to grow its institutional nationwide title business.

Les R. Kramsky, Esq. has dedicated his professional career to the title insurance, mortgage and real estate industry and brings a unique perspective that spans the course of over twenty (20) years, including holding positions as the General Counsel to The Money Store; General Counsel to Paramount Properties; General Counsel to Consumers Title Agency along with having his own law firm specializing in real estate. Les is a recognized authority on title insurance, mortgage, real estate, insurance, leases, contracts, labor law, corporate law and compliance matters and has been quoted in media outlets such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fox Business News, National Mortgage News, Law360, WCBS Radio, Corporate Counsel Magazine and Secondary Marketing Executive Magazine.

Mr. Kramsky received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Washington D.C. In addition, Mr. Kramsky is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the New Jersey District Courts and the New York Southern and Eastern District Courts.

Mr. Kramsky is a licensed New Jersey Title Insurance Producer; a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and a licensed New Jersey Realtor.
