Florida Justice Association Awards Board Position To Manasota Trial Lawyers Board

August 22nd 2011 – Bradenton Florida

The Florida Justice Association (FJA) announced that the Manasota Trial Lawyers Board (MTLB) has formally been recognized as an outstanding local trial lawyer association and its President has been awarded a position on the FJA Board of Directors. The Florida Justice Association only awards positions on its Board of Directors to the top local trial lawyer associations in the State of Florida. Based in Manatee and Sarasota counties, the Manasota Trial Lawyers Board has been growing in prominence and bringing additional focus to legal matters on Florida’s Suncoast. As a relatively new organization, it is considered a great honor to be recognized by the Florida Justice Association.

“At the Florida Justice Association we have seen the MTLB grow substantially over the past year and develop into a premier venue for trial lawyers to network and share information. As a result of this growth, the Florida Justice Association appreciates the value of the Manasota Trial Lawyers Board and is pleased to formally recognize it, and award its President a position on the FJA Board of Directors,” said Jeff Porter, Central Florida Director of the Florida Justice Association.

The Florida Justice Association is dedicated to strengthening and upholding Florida’s civil justice system and protecting the rights of Florida’s citizens and consumers, a goal consistent with the mission of the Manatee Trial Lawyers Board.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Florida Justice Association,” said Manasota Trial Lawyers Board founder and President, Bernard Walsh, “The MTLB counts many of Florida’s top trial lawyers among its ranks, and having been awarded a position on the Florida Justice Association Board of Directors will further enhance our ability to be proactive in supporting justice and the rights of Floridians in our legal system.”

About the Florida Justice Association

The Florida Justice Association (FJA), formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (AFTL), is dedicated to strengthening and upholding Florida’s civil justice system and protecting the rights of Florida’s citizens and consumers.

We passionately believe that all Floridians benefit when deserving individuals have a fair chance to seek justice in our state’s courts and that Florida’s consumers are made safer when large corporations and industries are held to a high ethical standard and accept fair responsibility for their actions.

FJA works in the legislative, political and public arenas to ensure that Floridians know and understand the importance of their rights to justice and to make certain that these rights, which are at the very core of what it means to be American, are safeguarded and protected.
