Ogden, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A bus collided with a sedan and then swerved into a house, which damaged the chimney on Sunday, November 8, 2009, announced 13WHAM News.
Police reported that the serious wreck took place in the town of Ogden around 5:15 p.m. at the corner of Washington and Colby Streets. Police and emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the scene to transport the injured.
Police reported that the bus was a Lifetime Assistance transportation vehicle that collided with a sedan. EMS transported four victims of the crash to a local hospital to be treated by doctors and nurses for their injuries. The bus damaged a residential home’s chimney after it ricocheted off the sedan in the collision.
Responding firefighters reported that three of the victims on the bus were injured in the crash, and the other injured person was traveling in the car at the time of the wreck. All four were expected to make a full recovery from their injuries.
There were no residents that were injured in the house when the bus crashed into it. Police continue to probe the crash to determine the cause of the collision. The names of the injured were not released.
