New York – “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen is stepping down from his executive role with Bravo after striking a new deal with the network. As reported by TheWrap, Cohen will no longer be executive vice president for talent and development in 2014, but will continue to host and produce “Live.”

As part of the new deal reached with Bravo, Cohen will reportedly develop and produce new programming under his new production company, Most Talkative, for the network.

Cohen is quoted in the report as stating to the New York Times that the move was an “inevitable transition” following the expansion of his late night talk show two years ago.

Frances Berwick, the network’s president, is quoted as stating, “This is sort of freeing Andy from the corporate shackles.”
