New York – A woman accused of stalking actor Alec Baldwin was found in contempt and ordered to jail by a NYC judge on Wednesday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Genevieve Sabourin, a Canadian actress testified that Baldwin had wooed her in 2010 after being given 30 days jailtime for repeated outbursts in court during her trial.

Sabourin is quoted by the AP as stating during her testimony, “I was very charmed … I’m having a fantastic date on Valentine’s (Day weekend) with a guy who is single.”

Baldwin testified a day earlier that he had been harassed by Sabourin after agreeing to have dinner with her to give her acting advice upon the request of producer Martin Bregman. He claimed that he had never taken her to the theater, stating of the purported subsequent harassment, “It was nightmarish.”

Sabourin claims the two had a sexual relationship, which Baldwin denies. She has been ordered to spend time in jail as the trial continues.
