We don’t know what happened to this woman.”

Family spokesman David Perry is quoted as stating of the issue, “It certainly boggles the mind that while we were searching, Lynne was either dead or dying inside the hospital… There is something systemically wrong with how this was handled.”

The family of Spalding is seeking answers to what happened. An investigation is ongoing.
