1 Dead, 44 Injured in Greyhound Bus Accident on Pennsylvania Interstate

White Deer Township, P.A.—One person is dead and dozens are injured after a Greyhound bus was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer. The fatal bus accident occurred on I-80 around 2 a.m., reports New York Daily News.

According to officials, the bus, which was on it way to Ohio from New York City, slammed into the rear of a semi-truck on I-80 for unknown reasons.

Forty-four of the 49 passengers on board were injured in the wreck. One person was killed.

The identities of the injured and deceased have been withheld at this time.

Investigations into the deadly bus accident are underway. Greyhound is cooperating with authorities and will be conducting their own investigation.
