Kentucky – An Indiana man is facing a wanton endangerment charge after allegedly firing a gun at another driver in a road rage incident that was caught on video. As reported by WKYT, Dr. Perrin Dobyns was arraigned Wednesday morning in Madison District Court. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.

David Kollar, who recorded the road rage incident, said he began recording after witnessing the driver of a black vehicle driving recklessly on Interstate-75. Kollar is quoted as stating of seeing the driver fire a gun, “The window comes down, he pulls up a gun and fires, almost immediately he fires. As soon as I see the gun come up I just hit the brake and he missed me.”

Kollar turned the video evidence over to police after getting away to safety. Trooper Robert Purdy, of the Kentucky State Police, is quoted as stating of the incident, “It’s not everyday we actually have a video showing a road rage, or somebody brandishing a firearm.”

A preliminary hearing is set for Dobyns next week.
