Hollywood – A woman was killed after being approached by panhandlers who demanded $1 from her for taking pictures on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As reported by The Christian Post, Christine Calderon, 23, was stabbed to death in an attack perpetrated by three men who became angered after she purportedly refused their demand.

Calderon was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital Tuesday night around 8:30 p.m.

Dustin James Kinnear, 26, has been charged with murder, and named accomplices Jason Joel Wolstone, 33, and Brian Joseph Widdoes, 34, have been charged with two counts of accessory to the attack.

Mayor-elect Eric Garcetti is quoted in the report as stating to CBS Los Angeles of the incident, “This is barbaric behavior and I’ll be damned if we’re gonna roll things back in Hollywood when we made too much progress to see this sort of, you know, complete disrespect and disregard.”
