School Bus Driver Killed in Centerville Bus Garage Accident

Centerville, PA — A Pennsylvania school bus driver was killed, after being struck by another vehicle in the parking lot of school bus company’s garage Thursday, January 19, 2012. The fatal accident occurred just before 7 a.m., at Impiccini Bus Lines in the Centerville Borough, reported WTAE.COM.

Andrea Chapman, 64, of Vestaburg, was hit by another driver in his personal vehicle, who was apparently arriving for work when the accident occurred.

Police have not publicly identified the driver of the vehicle.

Chapman was reportedly wearing dark clothing and was walking across the parking lot at the time.

Responding emergency crews rushed Chapman to a Pittsburg hospital, where her injuries proved fatal and she was pronounced dead.

Investigations into the automobile accident are underway.

It is unknown if the other driver will be facing any charges related to the accident.
