I have believed for a long time that standardized tests forced on students in every state are ruining our education system. From experience when I was a student, it was all we learned through the whole school year. Teachers never taught anything outside the state tests, in fear that students would do poorly and they would loose their job. Standardized testing really needs to be reevaluated, because I do not think they are really benefiting anyone.
