Day Care Vans in Palm Beach County Now Require Alarms to Check for Children

07/19/2011 // WPB, FL, USA // Personal Injury Lawyers News // Nicole Howley

I would like to applaud Florida’s lawmakers for passing this needed regulation in our childcare industry. Too many kids are left behind in day care vans, who are then left in Florida’s sweltering heat, which has led to many tragic deaths. This law needs to go nationwide, so kids all across the United States can have the same kind of protection. Overworked day care workers often think they have all the kids out of the van when they don’t–accidentally leaving a sleeping child in the van.
