Study: Children who have their tonsils removed gain weight

02/01/2011 // Greensboro, NC, USA // Personal Injury Lawyers News // Nicole Howley

According to research published in the February issue of Otolaryngology, “children who had their tonsils removed seem to gain weight after the surgery and may be more likely to become overweight compared to children who never went under the knife,” reported MSNBC. I believe there is probably more behind the reasons for weight gain; not just because they got the surgery. I would still get my child’s tonsils removed if they needed to be.
