Palm Bay, FL—Two school buses crashed in Brevard County, injuring four students on Friday morning, January 28, 2011. The automobile accident occurred around 7:50 a.m., on Palm Bay Road, as reported by ClickOrlando.com.

The Brevard County School Board reported that a school bus driven by A&S Transport was headed to Imagine Charter School, when the bus rear-ended a car. The impact of the crash pushed the car into a Brevard County school bus.

Four of the 10 charter school students sustained minor injuries. Responding emergency crews transported the victims to Palm Bay Community Hospital for treatment.

The Brevard County school bus was not transporting any students at the time of the crash. The bus driver was uninjured.

A full investigation is underway. It is unknown what caused the bus to rear-end the car, causing the chain-reaction crash.
