Rosemount, MN—Five people were rushed to the hospital after a car drove through the front doors of a Rosemount bar early Saturday night. About 7 p.m., the car smashed into the Celts Pub and Grill on South Robert Trail, after it failed to stop at a stop sign, as reported by KARE11.

The Minnesota State Patrol stated a 50-year-old Rosemount woman was traveling southbound on Highway 3, when she blew through a stop sign and subsequently hit the bar.

The wreck injured a couple in their 50’s who were sitting at a table near the front door of the Celts Pub. A mother and her 2-year-old daughter were also injured. They were all rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. Officials say that the injuries were not considered to be life-threatening. By Sunday, the mother and daughter were released from the hospital and were home recovering.

The driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment. She was not seriously injured. She gave a blood sample to be tested by the State Patrol for drugs and alcohol. Authorities are investigating whether or not she was impaired at the time of the accident.

A full investigation is currently underway.
