Florida truck accident lawyer alerts- A pickup truck crash caused two motorists to suffer undisclosed injuries in Titusville, Florida.

Titusville, FL—A wrong-way driver seemingly managed to cause a fiery two-vehicle pickup truck wreck at approximately 1:05 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010. The accident occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Titusville, Florida, according to information provided by the Sun-Sentinel.

Authorities from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) allegedly received a report of a pickup truck, driven by 62-year-old Harry C. Brown, traveling south in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Mile Marker 240. Unfortunately since the wrong-way driver was not stopped in time, his vehicle consequently smashed into a northbound pickup truck, driven by 20-year-old Michael A. Lima, at Mile Marker 229. Lima initially attempted to avoid a collision with Brown’s vehicle but was unable to do so. On impact, Lima’s pickup rolled over and caught fire after landing on its roof in the median of the roadway. Brown’s pickup truck allegedly careened around and came to a rest on the right hand lane of northbound I-95.

Emergency medical services (EMS) crews seemingly responded to the scene of the motor vehicle collision (MVC) to transport Brown to Orlando Regional Medical Center to be treated by doctors and nurses. Lima was taken to Parrish Medical Center for treatment. Though the extent of the motorists’ injuries were not immediately disclosed by authorities; Lima, of Fort Lauderdale, was allegedly in fair condition at the hospital Sunday afternoon. Toxicology tests and charges are pending as investigations continue.
