Truck Accident News: Route 130 tractor-trailer crash killed man

Cinnaminson, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A tractor-trailer and a car were involved in an accident, which injured two on Route 130, Monday evening January, 4, 2010, according to the Burlington County times.

Responding police and emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the scene of the truck accident. Investigators reported that a car was traveling in the northbound lanes of Route 130 when it crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer for unknown reasons. The collision occurred at the intersection of Route 130 and Andover Road at 9:18 p.m.

Police reported that 66-year-old Robert Schick, of Delanco, was traveling with one passenger when he crashed into the back of the semi truck. Schick was seriously injured and was declared dead at the scene. 69-year-old Doris Ross, a passenger in the wreck, was taken via ambulance to be treated at Cooper University Hospital located in Camden.

Doctors and nurses treated her for serious injuries. It was not reported if her injuries were life threatening. The operator of the semi truck remained unidentified. He was unharmed in the crash. There have been no charges filed as of yet.
