Pennsylvania man killed in 4-vehicle crash

Franklin County, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A four vehicle crash fatally injured one man in Southampton Township, on Friday morning, December 4, 2009, according to WGAL.

Police officials reported that one vehicle was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Possum Hollow Road from Mount Rock Road heading north, when another work van approached the vehicle while crossing into the southbound lanes.

The van then collided head-on with a dump truck sending debris flying into another vehicle that was sitting at a stop sign. Police reported that the driver of the work van was fatally injured at the scene. The operator of the dump truck was transported via ambulance to Chambersburg Hospital where he was treated by doctors and nurses for minor injuries.
