New York motor vehicle accident kills 4 at Clarence intersection

Erie County, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A collision in Buffalo tragically killed four people traveling in a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) when it was struck by a van on November, 1 2009, announced the Buffalo News.

Police officials reported that the fatal crash took place at 8:30 p.m. Sunday night, when the SUV failed to make a complete stop at a stop sign, and was hit by a van at the intersection of County and Strickler Roads in Clarence.

The Sheriffs of Erie County responded to the scene and reported that there was not one survivor in the SUV after the collision. Emergency medical services (EMS) transported the two injured victims who were traveling in the van to Erie County Medical Center. They were treated by doctors and nurses for their severe injuries, but were reported to be in stable condition.

Police reported that the SUV was barreling down the street and did not stop at the stop sign before the van struck the vehicle. The names of the people involved in this tragic accident were not released pending family notification. The Sheriffs reconstruction accident team continues to probe the wreck.
