NJ school bus crash injures four middle school students

A pickup truck traveling behind the school bus crashed into the loaded bus, after the pickup was struck from behind by a dump truck. A total of 6 students suffered injuries from the wreck. The school bus was reportedly traveling with 38 middle school students at the time of the crash.

Four of the children were students were from the Carl W. Goetz Middle School, who complained of pain in their back and neck. The driver of the bus, and the operator of the truck also reported pain in their neck and back.

Police officials reported that accident took place on Cedar Swap Road. The dump truck was loaded with blue stone at the time of the crash. He slammed into the back of the pickup truck, which then struck the school bus. The school bus driver had just stopped to let a child off the bus. Police announced that the driver of the dump truck faces several charges for the 3 vehicle pileup.
