Plainville, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Two cars collided on Route 1 severely injuring one driver Monday morning, announced The Sun Chronicle. The accident occurred at the crossroads of George Street and Route 1.

Police identified the first driver as 25-year-old Lauren Ober, resident of Wrentham, who was heading south on Route 1 when she entered the expressway from the Dunkin Donuts parking lot and then collided with a car that was heading northbound. The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning and created traffic delays.

Massachusetts police identified the driver of the northbound vehicle as 41-year-old Kimberly Davis, resident of Plainville. Firefighters extricated Davis with the Jaws of Life from the damaged vehicle.
