Two School buses crash in Buffalo NY when one failed to observe a stop sign injuring 7 at intersection.

Buffalo, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Two New York School Buses crashed today where 7 students were transported to the hospital to be treated and assessed for injuries, announced the WGRZ News.

Buffalo New York’s administrator of transportation commented about the situation stating that one of the two buses involved in the crash did not have any passengers on board. The seven students from Buffalo were transported to the Women and Children’s Hospital to be examined by medical officials after the accident.

The crash occurred when one of the school buses traveling to School 30 on the west side of the town on West Delevan Avenue with 24 children riding the bus when a vacant school bus was heading down Herkimer when it ran a stop sign. The bus sideswiped the side of the other bus that was traveling to School 30 and damaged both vehicles scraping the sides as they went through the intersection.

Police reported that the children were scared and bewildered due to the crash. Medical personnel took 6 children to the hospital for minor injuries and 1 child suffered from an asthma attack. The state of the driver’s was not disclosed.
