New Jersey man critically injured in SUV rollover accident!

Weymouth, NJ (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A man from Weymouth sustained injuries when his sport utility vehicle (SUV) rolled over, announced the Star Ledger.

The 42-year-old New Jersey man was traveling down Route 3. New Jersey police are continuing to investigate the rollover crash. Investigators are considering whether or not there was a medical problem that could have caused the crash. The accident took place around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday close to Exit 16, reported police.

The name of the driver has not been released due to the privacy of the driver’s medical rights. Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the scene to transport the injured man. He was taken for treatment to the South Shore Medical Hospital. His condition has not been released as of yet. Before police and medical officials arrived, two motorists had pulled over to aid the trapped driver.

A state worker and a taxi cab driver both stopped on the side of the road to help the man. The state employee successfully removed the driver from the vehicle with the aid of Scott Alden, the taxi cab driver for Shore Cab Co., resident of Quincy. The cab driver smashed in the back window with a nearby rock in order to pull the injured driver out of the wrecked SUV. The state worker suffered minor injuries from extricating the victim of the accident.
