Maryland Motor Vehicle Accident Notice: Woman killed in delivery truck crash!

Baltimore County, Maryland (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A woman from Reisterstown suffered fatally injuries when her vehicle smashed into a delivery truck, announced the Baltimore Sun.

The woman was traveling on Interstate 795 in the northbound lanes when the accident occurred. The car crashed into the delivery truck north of Owings Mills Boulevard on the highway. The driver of the car was identified by Maryland police officials as 21-year-old Amy L. Brooking, resident of Reisterstown.

Amy Brooking was traveling in her 2004 Honda Civic heading southbound when her vehicle jumped the median and crashed into a delivery truck heading northbound. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene to transport the injured to the hospital. Brooking was taken to Sinai Hospital where she was treated by doctors and nurses for her injuries, which soon after arriving at the hospital, proved fatal. She was declared dead by medical personnel.

Police investigators reported that the delivery truck had attempted to swerve out of the way of Brooking’s out of control car, and flipped over landing on its side. The driver of the truck was identified as 32-year-old William K. Dodge, resident of Hanover, Pennsylvania. Dodge was transported via ambulance to Northwest Hospital Center for moderate injuries. Maryland police detectives are still investigating the accident to determine the cause.
