New Jersey Motorcycle Accident Notice: New Brunswick man killed in taxi crash!

East Brunswick, NJ (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — A 32-year-old family man was killed Monday evening when the motorcyclist collided with a car in Edison, announced the New Brunswick Home News Tribune.

The crash occurred on Monday on Route 1 close to Old Post Road. The man identified as Ashley Jose was riding his motorcycle with a friend at the time of the crash. Jose had been riding behind a 2005 Lincoln Town Car Taxi cab that was traveling in the center lane.

The two motorcyclists decided to split up and pull in front of the vehicle. Jose’s friend passed in the left lane of traffic while Jose proceeded to pass the Lincoln in the right lane. The Lincoln taxi began to veer into the right hand lane to jump on the exit ramp. Then, Jose clipped the Lincoln, which threw him out of control riding off the causeway into a traffic sign and then slammed into a utility pole finally crashing into a parked 2000 Chevrolet Malibu, announced police officials.

The driver the taxi was identified as 45-year-old Mohammed Hussain, resident of Brooklyn, New York. The man from East Brunswick is survived by his wife and children. The extended family of Jose commented to the press stating that Jose will be sorely missed. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
