Motor Vehicle Accident Bulletin: 2 accidents injures 2 New Jersey women

Legal news for Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Accident lawyers–Car crash in Lancaster County Pennsylvania where two cars collided and injured 2 New Jersey women reported police.

Leacock Township, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Two New Jersey women sustained injuries in a 2-car crash on Route 772 at the intersection of Carriage Driver in Leacock Township, announced the Intelligencer Journal.

The accident happened around 3:15 p.m. Monday afternoon when driver 47-year-old Eva Stoltzfus, resident of Gap, Pennsylvania crashed into driver 59-year-old Shelley Shafer, resident of Bridgeport, New Jersey. Shafer failed to yield the right of way when she was entering the Route 772 expressway off of a road on the west side, and continued to head across the lane where Stoltzfus struck her vehicle.

Police reported that the two cars lost control and spun around after the crash before coming to a halt. Shafer’s passenger identified as 55-year-old Cindy Anderson, resident of Salem, New Jersey along with both drivers were taken to Lancaster General Hospital to be treated for their injuries. All three injured woman were buckled in at the time of the crash.

Another car wreck happened Monday morning, where a motorcyclist struck a guardrail on Route 897 when driving around a bend and slammed into a car. The crash took place around 8 a.m. in Salisbury Township, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The motorcyclist identified as 51 –year-old Joette Phelps, resident of Bay City, Michigan, was thrown off his bike on the east side of the road.

The motorcyclist traveling northbound, swerved into the vehicle that was heading southbound on Route 897 collided into each other. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 18 –year-old Deven Murray. Phelps was transported to the Lancaster General Hospital for her injuries while Phelps did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
