Connecticut Vehicle Accident News: Greenwich father dies traveling to work

Legal news for Connecticut Car Accident Lawyers—A car crash in Greenwich Connecticut fatally injured a man going to work in Manhattan reported police officials.

Greenwich, CT (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A father from Greenwich was fatally injured when he swerved off the road and crashed in the trees off the side of the road, announced the Greenwich Time.

The one vehicle accident occurred on Lake Avenue close to Rockwood Lane. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 49-year-old Robert Risman, a father of three children, who crashed his own vehicle Monday morning when it went flying off the road.

Police officials along with the Greenwich Medical Examiner, declared the impact of the crash was what most likely killed Risman. However, the Coroner was scheduled to conduct an autopsy to determine the true cause of death. Risman happened to be the only person traveling in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

The vehicle drove off the road and stopped 50 feet off the causeway in the wooded area. Police officials believe that there were no other vehicles involved in this crash. Officials determined that Risman was on his way to the train station to get to his job where he worked at an equities brokerage firm in Manhattan. The investigation will continue to determine the cause of the crash.
