Exton, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — Pennsylvania police officials reported a three-vehicle collision that fatally injured 2 people and injured 2 others, announced the Philadelphia Inquirer.

In Chester County, a pickup truck collided with a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) early Monday morning on Route 202 located next to the Route 30 overpass in West Whiteland Township. After the two vehicles crashed, another vehicle struck the already damaged pickup truck sending it over the guardrail plummeting to the ground below.

Police officials reported to the scene to find a man and a woman dead inside the SUV. Investigators identified them as 45-year-old Diane Washington and 47-year-old George Parker, residents of Norristown. Emergency medical services (EMS) responded to the scene to transport the injured to the hospital. The operator of the pickup truck was rushed to the hospital to be treated for his severe injuries and his condition is not yet known.

The pickup truck that was hit by two vehicles was catapulted through the guardrail and came to a halt in the wooded area 75 feet down from the freeway. One passenger, who was traveling in the third vehicle, was treated by medical personnel for minor injuries. Their name remains undisclosed. Pennsylvania Police are continuing to investigate the three vehicle collision to determine the cause. This accident is under investigation.
