NY Motor Vehicle Accident Bulletin: 4 injured in 4-vehicle crash!

New York firefighters pulled 2 drivers out of a 4-vehicle crash during rush hour traffic where 4 were injured.

Westchester County, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A four-car wreck injured four people in an accident that closed Route 22 four several hours on Thursday in the town of White Plains, New York, announced The Journal.

Officials reported the accident to have taken place around 8 a.m. A 2009 Acura crashed into a 2001 Toyota, driven by 48-year-old Luis Pujols, of New York City, in White Plains during rush hour traffic on Route 22. The Acura driver, identified as 41-year-old Ford Levy, resident of Pleasantville, hit the Toyota and then crashed into a 2004 Honda going southbound. The driver of the Honda was identified as 58-year-old Max Eicher, resident of Woodcliff, NJ.

The Acura pushed the Honda into a rental truck located close to Washington Place. The driver of the rental vehicle was driven by 42-year-old Raul Gonzales, resident of Pelham.

The four-vehicle accident stayed in the southbound lanes of traffic and injured all four drivers in the crash. New York firefighters rescued two of the trapped drivers from out of their damaged vehicles.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene to transport the four injured drivers to Westchester Medical Center located in Valhalla, NY. Medical officials reported that the four drivers did not suffer any fatal injuries due to the crash.

Route 22 was shut down from all traffic in the southbound lanes for North Castle investigators to reconstruct the accident to determine the cause. Charges have not been assessed as of yet.
