Manhattan, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Fire rescue officials responded to the scene of a flipped taxi cab in Manhattan crash that severely injured three people, announced Newsday.

Firefighters reported that the taxi cab collided with another vehicle and the force overturned the cab on Seventh Avenue and West 24th Street. Officials of the New York Fire Department reported that the taxi and another vehicle collided in the Chelsea neighborhood. The Manhattan wreck severely injured 3 people involved in the crash. The crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived on the scene to transport the victims of the crash to the hospital to be treated by nurses and doctors for their injuries. Two of the injured people were in severe condition and one sustained life-threatening injuries due to the crash. Investigation is still underway.

Last week, another taxi cab accident occurred at a Manhattan subway station. The cab crashed into a subway station entrance injuring the three people, Fox News reported. Officials reported that the cab driver had lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a subway entrance located on Broadway and 72nd Street. The injured were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their minor injuries. New York Police Department was investigating the crash.
