Massachusetts motor vehicle accident injures 2 police and motorcyclist

Massachusetts motor vehicle accident attorney report: 2 separate vehicle collisions injured 2 police and 1 motorcyclist at the same intersection that occurred hours apart.

Boston, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A Boston police squad vehicle collided with another car at the dangerous, busy intersection of Cummins and River Street in Mattapan. Soon after, a Honda collided with a motorcycle in the same intersection, announced the Boston Globe.

Police officials arrived on the scene to assess the first situation and then the next vehicle collision happened the same day. The first accident sent two police officers to the hospital for non-fatal wounds. The second accident involved a Honda Civic and Suzuki motorcycle.

Officials on the scene of both collisions announced that there were not any tickets issued.
The second accident occurred when the Honda Civic attempted to swerve in front of the motorcyclist, but instead the motorcyclist crashed into the car. The motorcyclist had to be transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he was treated by doctors and nurses. His condition has not been released. The driver of the Honda was not taken to the hospital.
Investigators did not disclose the identities of any of the people involved in the crash.

Locals attest to the fact that the intersection has always been a dangerous one where many car accidents have happened in the past. The intersection also has a local grocery market and a bus stop that locals said might possibly be part of distraction that could be blamed for the accidents. Investigation is underway.
