New York Product Liability Attorneys Issue Urgent News Flash – Little Tikes responds to Government recall of 1.6 million toys nationwide.

New York, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 1.6 million Little Tikes Company toys from the consumer market, announced CNNMoney.

An eleven-month old baby was hospitalized for one of the plastic nails wedged in his throat. The Little Tike toys with small plastic red and blue nails come as a part of the “Trucks and Workshop Sets”, recommended from toddlers 2-years and older, stated Little Tikes Management. The other Little Tikes products that required the plastic nails were also recalled such as: The Swirlin’Sawdust WorkShop. ElectronicProject Workshop, Black Pickup Truck with tool kit; HandiWorker WorkHouse, Home Improvements 2-Slided Workshop.

The 11-month old was treated and was released from the hospital. Little Tikes asserted that it is part of their job as the company to be responsible for the safety of toy for any child that comes in contact with the toy.

All who have purchased any toy on the listed product recall list are encouraged to get in touch with Little Tikes so as to receive a safe improved replacement for the child’s toy, Authorities made in a public announcement. These toys have been produced for 15 years in factories in the United States and China. Little Tikes is rooted in Hudson, Ohio.
