New York personal injury lawyers give update -Taconic state parkway crash victims begin the healing process between the two NY families when lone survivor returns home.

New York, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Weeks after the devastating Taconic crash that killed 8 people going the wrong way, the one survivor returned home after being hospitalized for severe injuries due to the wreck, announced Newsday.

The 5-year-old Bryan Schuler is presently with Daniel, his father. Bryan’s aunt said that the family is doing alright, reported media sources.

The boy suffered life-threatening injuries from the crash when the boys’ mother drove her For Windstar Minivan for 2 miles driving head on into traffic on the Taconic State Parkway, before she collided with an SUV killing 8 people involved in the 3 car wreck on July 26.

Investigators determined that the mother had been abusing alcohol and illicit drugs when she crashed the minivan killing herself, her daughter Erin, and 3 of her nieces, Emma, Alyson and Kate Hance. The three other people in the SUV that were killed were Guy and Michael Bastardi and friend Daniel Longo.

The Bastardi lawyer stated that he believed it would be a good to experience the healing process together amongst the two families. The Hance family lawyer contacted the family of the Yonkers men that were killed to express their regrets.
