New Jersey teen hit by tow truck, suffers serious injuries

Car-tow truck accident puts teen in critical condition from severe injuries reported New Jersey police officials

West Nyack, NJ (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A young man from New Jersey is being treated for serious injuries by doctors at Nyack Hospital, due to a collision with a tow truck on Route 303.  The 19 year-old man is still in critical condition today from the crash that took place yesterday afternoon, announced the Journal News.

This young man was one of three passengers riding with 4 other people in the 1997 Mercedes that was en route north bound when it was crashed into by a tow truck as the car tried to switch lanes in effort to pass, reported police officials. All five people in the vehicle were injured to some degree.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 20-year-old Dylan Wagner, resident of Wall, New Jersey. He along with 1 other passenger were examined and treated by Emergency Medical personnel at the scene of the accident and suffer only minor injuries. Another passenger, a 17-year-old girl was transported the Nyack Hospital for injuries that Authorities say were not fatal.

The operator of the tow truck was identified as 26-year-old Keith Meredith, resident of Blauvelt, New Jersey and employee of An-Do Autobody in Congers, New Jersey. He suffered only minor injuries and was taken care of by paramedics at the scene of the accident.
