Approximately 50 Disney goers were traveling on the two buses when the rear-end transportation coach collision occurred. Apparently the buses were transporting vacationers from the Magic Kingdom to the Caribbean Beach and All-Star resorts, when the bus driver smashed into the back of the other vehicle, which had stopped in an attempt ot merge from three lanes to two lanes on World Drive. Twelve passengers were taken to Disney area hospitals. The bus drivers were reportedly uninjured. This accident marks the second major tragedy on Disney properties in the past two weeks.
