Lawry’s brand recalls spices and seasonings with undeclared milk products.
New York, NY(NewYorkInjuryNews.com)–The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) www.fda.gov issued a press release alerting all nationwide consumers of a food product recall by McCormick & Company involving their Lawry’s brand seasonings. The food maker recalled Lawry’s Fajitas Spices & Seasoning packages because the product contains undeclared milk products. Consumers who suffer from milk allergies are at risk of serious and possibly life threatening allergic reactions if they eat this product.
Lawry’s Fajita Spices & Seasonings packages were recalled after it was discovered the product wad mislabeled and then distributed to grocery stores and food retailers nationwide. The food seasoning was sold beginning October 17, 2008 and no other Lawry’s products are involved in this recall. FDA health investigators claim no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date. All grocery stores and food product retailers who sell Lawry’s Fajitas Spices & Seasoning packages have been notified to remove the affected packets from their consumer shelves immediately.
