Pennsylvania woman’s leg severed in motorcycle crash!
Legal news for Pennsylvania Motorcycle accident lawyers—A Toyota Corolla crashed into 2 motorcyclists injuring them severely in Solebury, Pennsylvania.
Solebury, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Doctors fight to save a motorcyclist severed leg that she lost after she was struck by a car Thursday afternoon on River Road, announced the Bucks County Courier Times.
A motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured after they were hit by a car on River Road in Solebury, reported police.
The driver of the Triumph motorcycle was only identified as a 52-year-old man and his passenger was identified as a 51-year-old woman. Solebury police officials reported that the bike was heading northbound when it was struck by a Toyota Corolla. The female passenger was catapulted off the motorcycle in the crash damaging both of the riders left legs in the collision.
The couple was transported via trauma PennSTAR helicopters to Temple University Hospital located in Philadelphia where doctors could not save the woman’s severed leg. Surgeons were attempting to recover the man’s left leg according to police.
Police did not report the names of the victims for unknown reasons. Both the man and the woman were residents of Levitttown. The driver of the Toyota was only identified as a 52-year-old female from Trenton. Police detectives are still investigating the accident. River Road was temporarily blocked off from traffic for three hours after the crash.
