Legal News for New York Truck accident lawyers—4 injured when 1 driver failed to stay in lane.

A car crashed into a pickup truck injuring both drivers and 2 passengers in the town of Murray, NY.

Orleans County, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Four people were injured in a head on collision in Orleans County on Route 237, announced the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

A vehicle changed lanes to go around a stopped car when he crashed into a pickup truck in the southbound lanes. The collision occurred around 7:30 Thursday morning, reported county police. The accident took place at the intersection of Lynch Road and Route 237 in the town of Murray.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 19 year-old Craig Davis, resident of Holley. He was heading northbound when he erratically changed lanes to go around a vehicle when he crashed into the south bound pickup truck. Also among the injured was the driver of the pickup truck, who was identified as 27-year-old Steven Strapp, resident of Albion along with his passenger, identified as 22-year-old Joshua Hoover. Emergency medical services (EMS) transported them to Stong Memorial Hospital via ambulance to be treated for their injuries.

Davis’ passenger 16-year- old Joseph Ricci, resident of Albion was flown via trauma helicopter to Strong Memorial Hospital for his serious injuries reported police officials. Orleans County police officials issued Davis a ticket for failing to keep right and for tailgating.

Davis, Ricci and Hoover all were transported to the hospital but were later discharged after treatment. Strapp remains in the hospital in stable condition.
