Truck Accident Lawyer Bulletin: 1 killed in Pennsylvania semi truck collision!

Legal news for Pennsylvania Truck Accident Lawyers—Pennsylvania police report a semi truck jumped lanes and crashed into 2 pickup trucks and fatally injured 1 man.

Washington County, PA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — A man from Slovan, a small community in Burgettstown, suffered fatal injuries when he was involved in a three-vehicle crash early Thursday morning, announced Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

Pennsylvania police reported the conditions to be rainy around the time of the crash. The man, identified as 48-year-old Roger Walters, was driving his F-150 traveling northbound on Route 837, south of Bentley Drive in Union Township, when a semi truck swerved out of the southbound lanes and crashed into a pickup truck and then hit the F-150, which had been three vehicles behind it.

Walters was declared dead at the scene of the accident after he was catapulted through the windshield of his vehicle from the impact of the crash. Police reported that Walters had not been safely buckled in his seatbelt. The driver of the semi was identified as 31-year-old Nicholas Jackson, resident of Carrollton, Ohio. He remained unharmed in the accident.

However, the big rig spilled 120 gallons of gasoline all over the highway. An environmental cleanup crew from Beaver County responded to the accident to clean up the highway. The driver of the pickup F-250 was identified as 44-year-old Steven Coffield, resident of Aleppo, who also remained uninjured in the accident.
