New York car crash leaves 4 hospitalized in Syracuse

Legal news for New York Motor Vehicle Accident Lawyers– four injured when a BMW crashed into a minivan in Syracuse.

Police officials reported a motor vehicle accident involving a minivan that injured 4 in Syracuse, New York.

Syracuse, NY( NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A resident of Cicero was driving on South Main Street into a Hess Gas station when he was hit by a another vehicle going westbound, announced the Post-Standard.

Syracuse police officials reported the Sunday accident occurred at the intersection when a BMW Sedan crashed into a Chevrolet minivan that was turning into the gas station. 35-year-old Bart Simmons, resident of Cicero, was driving his minivan when it was hit by the BMW driver, 61-year-old Robert Mosher.

Police reported that the force of the crash caused the minivan to rollover. Simmons and his two child passengers were traveling in his vehicle at the time of the crash. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the 9 and 5-year-old via ambulance to the University Hospital.

Police reported that Simmons was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to yield and a misdemeanor. Detectives discovered that Simmons had been charged for driving with a suspended license 11 times previous to this incident.

Mosher, the driver of the BMW, was transported to the Veterans Administration Medical Center to be treated for his minor injuries. Medical officials did not release any information about his condition.
