New York Fire Department rescue officials picked up 4 people in Jet Ski accident in the Hutchinson River where one man died.

Bronx, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Monday afternoon, a father from the Bronx was jet-skiing with three other people, including his daughter, when there was an accident with the Jet Skis, which later contributed to fatal injuries on the Hutchinson River, announced the New York Daily News.

The father, identified as 37-year-old Nelson Aguilar and his 14-year-old daughter and two other girlfriends were celebrating the Holiday riding on Jet Ski’s in the River before an accident occurred.

New York Fire Department (FDNY) Chief James Yakimovich reported that the Jet Ski accident appears to have been a crash between the two Jet Skis that injured the four people. The four survivors swam to Goose Island where they were rescued by the Fire Department, who arrived in a tug boat. Fire rescue officials reported that Aguilar was in serious condition when the group was picked up. One of the girls was performing CPR on Aguilar, whose face was badly bruised. He still remained unconscious from the accident.

Aguilar died as a result of going into cardiac arrest shortly after the crash located close to the Bronx housing development of Co-op City. New York Police Department (NYPD) is still investigating the cause of the fatal accident. Fire Rescue officials attempted to resuscitate the unconscious man, but he showed no signs of response. After transporting Aguilar to Jacobi Medical Center, medical personnel declared him to be dead. The three girls, including his daughter, survived with minor cuts and bruises.
