Massachusetts Construction Accident Attorneys report a forklift worker was killed while at work.

Taunton, MA (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – Government officials are probing an accident where a construction worker fell to his death off of a forklift at his workplace, announced the Taunton Daily Gazette.

The 51-year-old construction worker hit his head against the cement ground when he was working on-site in a warehouse in Taunton. Investigators identified the man as Alan Forsyth, resident of Stoughton, in Norfolk County. Forsyth reportedly fell off the forklift during work hours at the warehouse when he was struck by a metal beam, at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Monday morning.

Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the scene to treat the fatally injured fork-lift operator. Paramedics transported the wounded fork lift operator to Morton Hospital and Medical Center. Alan Forsyth was declared dead by doctors the same day. Government official detectives are investigating the scene of the fatal accident where Forsyth was employed.

Local police gave a statement to the Taunton Daily Gazette stating that Forsyth was operating the forklift inside one of the warehouses of Super-Dog Pet Food Co. when the forklift hit the beam causing it to swing and hit Forsyth in the head hurling him to the ground.
Local police declared the death of this construction worker to be an accident. The Government agency Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) www.osha.gov/ continues to further query the situation.
