Bus driver dies at the wheel with 9 children on board!

New York Motor Vehicle Accident Lawyer News - NYC bus barrels down road with dead driver and 10 children on board and crashed into another vehicle.

Queens, NY (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) – A NYC school bus driver keeled over while transporting children from a summer camp in inner city New York, announced United International Press.

Police reported that the driver of the bus happened to experience a heart attack while driving and fell unconscious face down onto the steeling wheel. The bus continued on through traffic until one of the passengers on the bus took control.

A camp counselor known by the name of Rachel reportedly leaped into the seat of the bus driver and located the emergency break. Rachel pulled the emergency break and the bus came to a halt after it began to roll into a busy intersection. The bus driver immediately fell lifelessly out of the seat when the brake was pulled. The children on the bus were saved from a much more devastating accident due to Rachel taking action. The bus did not stop in time to avoid a collision with a vehicle in front of the out of control bus.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) declared the bus driver dead at the scene of the crash. Officials have not reported injuries to the 9 child passengers aboard the bus at the time of the crash, or about the driver of the other vehicle involved.
