New York car accident - 6 People Injured

Albany, New York (NewYorkInjuryNews.com) — On Saturday, the 16th of June, six people were injured including juveniles in an accident on the I-84 in Tolland. Among the three injured juveniles, two of them are in a very critical condition at the Hartford Hospital. According to the state police, the vehicle in which they were traveling, rolled several times thereby ejecting the two juvenile travelers from it. The third juvenile suffered from less critical injuries even though he was ejected from the vehicle as well.

The driver, Rhandy Taveras, 28, from East Elmhurst, New York, drove a Toyota 4-Runner along with two passengers, Dianna Novas aged 30, a resident of Rego Park and Rosemary Diaz, aged 28, from East Elmhurst. All suffered injuries. All of the adults suffered from non-incapacitating wounds and were immediately taken to the nearby area hospitals for medication.

As the number of road accidents is increasing with the passing of each day, the state police are taking steps in order to reduce the level of accidents per day faced by the people of New York. According to the police, the car went off towards the left shoulder while it was moving east on the I-84, near the Exit 68. The vehicle rolled over numerous times thereby ejecting the juvenile passengers in the car’s back seats. It cannot be said whether the other three travelers were actually ejected.

The ages and hometowns of the three juvenile passengers have not been released yet. And the state police are still looking into the main reason behind the accident and investigating about the culprit. The number of accidents are rising due to negligence on the part of the drivers as well as the police laws. It is high time that both the parties need to adopt preventive measures like wearing seat belts so as to reduce the level of accident that are faced each day.
